This project was born in the need of images for 2 publications - AdventurePro Magazine and Crested Butte Magazine. In addition to that, Krista needed some images for her maple syrup company and so we went to Hartman rocks for a bike adventure. That area has to offer plenty of technical trails and magnificent views of the Colorado high desert.

Making It Work
The key in this project was that we were allowed to double dip - the magazines didn't mind using the same content since their audiences didn't really overlap, or at least didn't overlap for the most part. Stephanie Maltarich was writing the article for the story and also helped with the production side of things.
Things went great with plenty of features for Krista to ride, and then the top of the cherry was the evening light. After the clouds We did get a beautiful sunset, in between the moving clouds, low above the desert's horizon. The brought feelings of satifisfaction and we wrapped up another successful project.
