Commercial Photography Project

Another triumph in collaboration unfolded as RoShambo and I embarked on an exciting project with Mountain Express, the local transportation company in Crested Butte. Their visionary decision to implement a dog-friendly policy on all buses in town called for captivating graphics and images to spearhead the campaign. Working closely with Jeremy Herzog, the esteemed executive director of Mountain Express, Mallory (RoShambo) and I crafted a plan that involved leveraging the charm of the locally renowned dogs-and-cats bus, an artistic masterpiece painted by the talented Heather Bischoff. It was a wonderful opportunity to unite local talents and engage the enthusiastic participation of the bus drivers, who arrived on set with their furry companions.

The wheels go around and around

Executing this commercial photography project was an exercise in logistical prowess. Our crew consisted of seven adults, two children, four dogs, and an empty bus that meandered through town, occasionally perplexing bystanders eagerly awaiting their regular bus. Needless to say, our hands were full throughout the morning, skillfully juggling myriad responsibilities. Yet, despite the intricacies involved, the project unfolded seamlessly, and we successfully captured the essence of the campaign for the bus posters and flyers that Mallory masterfully crafted. Reflecting upon the experience, I would consider enlisting additional assistance on set to ensure the smooth coordination of the shoot and provide guidance to all those involved.
