It all started with adventure, for me. My twin brother and I came to Colorado for what was supposed to be a winter in Vail. Our plan was to snowboard as much as possible, chasing powder and that surfy feeling it gives you - it’s amazing how you float down the mountain, carefree, big smile on your face. That winter turned into a lifestyle, and that lifestyle turned into a career. I picked up a camera because I wanted to capture all those feelings - the silent early mornings, the raw energy of a backflip, the stoke when you stomp it, cutting ropes and getting in trouble. Over time, that passion turned into commercial outdoor and lifestyle photography. I found myself in the role of a creative director, shaping the vision, crafting the story, and working on creating images that make people feel.
At some point, I dove into film as well. I love how going beyond a single frame can shape a unique visual story. I am mostly fitting into the role of Director of Photography - crafting the look and feel of a project, but have stepped into the Director’s role too whenever needed. To me, this work is more than just technical skills. They are important, don’t get me wrong, but having a strong work ethic and showing up prepared go a long way. The same goes for bringing a good attitude and plenty of snacks! I am always looking to learn something new, work together with others and bring a project to life.
